Hopefully most of you have seen the “What Could BG Be?” publicity. Hopefully many of you participated. But what is it? How will the community use this information? We don’t fully have the answers to those questions yet, but we are eagerly awaiting the results of the effort that gained over 4,000 ideas and generated over 1,000,000 interactions with these ideas. Results will be revealed on April 14th. Make sure you have signed up at https://www.whatcouldbgbe.com/ to get updates as this effort moves forward.
Our office has been engaged in this effort and is contemplating ways to incorporate this visioning effort into community strategic and long-range plans. What plans you ask? The list below illustrates many of the community plans and on-going efforts our office has been invited to be part of to help identify needs in the community to better plan for the future. Our office will be incorporating the public input gathered from these efforts along with efforts yet to come to help develop strategies that achieve the vision of the community, especially in regard to land use.
